The gunfire erupted around 4:31 p.m. near West Catherine Street and Linden Avenue, Chambersburg police said. Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted, isolated incident and that the general public is not in danger.
Officers are now looking to identify and speak with the occupants of a blue sedan captured in surveillance images. While those inside the car are considered persons of interest, they are not necessarily suspects at this time, police noted.
